Quality Matters Trainings Available Online

Washington State Community and Technical College Faculty:

We have a large number of seats available in the following online QM trainings

- at no cost to individual faculty or colleges -

 

• Applying the QM Rubric (APPQMR)
•  Master Reviewer Training (MRT)
•  F2F Facilitator Certification (FFC)- Formerly known as TTT for f2f
•  Online Facilitator Certification (OFC) - Formerly known as TTT for online
•  Peer Reviewer Certification (PRC)- pre-requisite for this course is successful completion of APPQMR

What is the QM Program?Quality Matters (QM) is a faculty-centered, peer review process that is designed to certify the quality of online and blended courses. QM is a leader in quality assurance for online education and has received national recognition for its peer-based approach and continuous improvement in online education and student learning. QM subscribers include community and technical colleges, colleges and universities, K-12 schools and systems, and other academic institutions.
There are three primary components in the Quality Matters Program: The QM Rubric, the Peer Review Process and QM Professional Development. If you are new to QM and wish to learn more, download the Overview and Introduction Presentation and Guide.

3-step process to reserve your seat:

1. Please communicate with your elearning director (or QM rep), and have them request the number of seats desired by email (Brook Bane at BBane@sbctc.edu)

2. Once it is approved by email, please fill out the Google form for each participant (http://goo.gl/v0Hfx).

3. After which, SBCTC eLearning will create a QM account for faculty, and register them for the workshop.
